What Causes Abdominal Pain And Blood In Vomit?

I had severe burning lower abdominal pain and then had traces of blood in my vomit, and now the pain is in my upper abdomen mainly after I eat something small to try and get some food in me for two days now. My appetite has decreased, and I feel discomfort after I eat. Is this something that sounds like it could heal quickly on its own and can I continue physical activity with it?

Hi,
Welcome to Healthcaremagic.com.

I had gone through your question I can understand your concern about your stomach issue.

As per your symptoms it seems to me that you are suffering with gastric ulcer. Now as you said there was blood in your vomited flood it seems to me upper GI bleed.

You need to check your stools, if it looks like Terry black that means your stomach is bleeding.

For that you must visit an emergency room in case you feel dizzy. During mean time avoid physical work, take only liquid or semi solid foods.

Hope my answer will be helpful to you. And come back to us in case any further assistance is needed.

Regards
Dr Muzaffer Hussain Parray.
