What Causes Abdominal Pain And Blood In Stool?

could dull aching pains in both side of the ABDOMEN‎ be a result of not drink enough water? the pain comes and go but for the past few months its been sticking around...also i notice a little blood in my stool,(no more than 8 times within a year, maybe every 4 to 6 weeks, maybe depending on what i ate or lack of drinking water), just along the side of the stool or a string of blood with what looks like mucus surround some of the stool(dont know if the musus is from my mouth which i have this coating on my tongue)

Hi.
The reason of blood in stool in your case may be due to Hemorrhoid/ piles. or anal fissure or a polyp or a Cancer.
The abdominal pain looks to be due to colitis. get a Colonoscopy done to find the diagnosis and get a proper treatment .
The mucus is produced by the large bowel in response to infection / cancer or an ulcer.
