What Causes Abdominal Numbness?

I ve had a bit of abdominal numbness on the right side of my stomach. It s really a numbness of the skin. What could this mean? I ve had herniated discs on the past, but haven t had any issues with pain or such for awhile. Could this have anything to so with it?

Hi.
Thanks for your query and a proper history of herniated disc.
This is the commonest reason for the numbness you are feeling on the right side of your stomach.
The herniated disc must have compressed on the sensory root / nerve so much that the nerve is not conducting the signals and hence the problem .
I would advise you to get an opinion of a Neurologist, get a fresh MRI done and get treated accordingly. ....
