What Causes Abdominal Cramps, Diarrhea And Chills?

I had sudden symptoms that woke me in the night. started out with abdomen cramps an watery diarrhea, then couple hours later same event, then three or four times a few hours apart had minor stool/semi diarrhea but lots of red blood turning the entire toilet water red and then the last trip to restroom seemed like all blood with mucus blobs. symptoms currently are acute burning in upper/mid abdomen, bloated, full feeling, and feel i need to go again which feels like i am having to hold back liquid. have very minor chills but no fever

Hello,

It can be flu-like symptoms happening due to any kind of infection of the intestine, dysentery is most common with Shigella kind infection.

For that first, you need to get blood culture done and treated with antibiotics accordingly.
