What Causes Abdominal Bloating?

I have bloated stomach,up high under rib ,for 11 days Dr thought it might be gallbladder. Blood work and ultrasound are clear. Taking gut flora and a refrigerated Probiotics so I have had couple of bowel movements but they are long and thin and lighter in color. Lots of water fruit, vegetables but my stomach still puffy sore also lower back pain. Also had ekg which was fine. Do you think my Dr is probably going to suggest a colonoscopy? I m getting concerned about colon cancer.

Hi,

This can be due to inflammatory bowel disease of the gut.

All it needs antibiotics coverage. Take Ofloxacin and Ornidazole and also take Pantoprazole.

Take mixed curd and milk in solution form as well, avoid taking heavy meals and acid causing foods, avoid foods which can cause gases that you may be well aware.

If symptoms don't subside within one to two weeks, then report to the emergency room for necessary investigations and further evaluation.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
