What Causes Abdominal Bloating Post Hysteroscopy With Uterine Polypectomy?

I am five days post hysteroscopy with uterine polypectomy and D & C. Spotting and bleeding nothing alarming. Wondering if bloating/gassy feeling is concerning 5 days out. I am 58 yo, post-menopausal, on estrogen patch and oral progesterone which has been suspended until post-procedure appointment in another 10 days.

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello dear Greetings
Regarding your experience with abdominal bloating vaginal spotting post hysterectomy with uterine polypectomy I am suggesting strongly that you have developed paralytic ileus due to temporal impairment of the intestinal motility following your surgery

In view of this please see a gastroenterologist specialist for further clinical assessment and expert management

I hope this helps Regards
