I m trying to discern if I hv gastritis. I hv been experiencing bloating and diarrhea like stool off and on for 2 years now. But 2 days ago, I woke up about 3am with nausea and stomach cramps. I ended up throwing up water and having diarrhea till I was taken to a clinic with drips. They suspected food poisoning because there was bacteria in my blood but also asked if I had gastritis. For your awareness, I had suffered from bulimia for close to 20 years and feel like that caused a lot of complications for my stomach. I would like to know if bulimia could also be the reason for the eroded stomach lining that leads to chronic gastritis? Thank you
