What Causes A Zit On The Shaft Of The Penis?

I had what appeared to be a zit on the shaft of my penis. I tried popping it and I m unsure if I had got all the puss out of it. It is a red bump, with a little hole. It hurts if I touch it but it s NOT itchy or yellow. I peeled the skin off of it and it appears slightly shiny. It reminds me of regular zits. There was another of what appeared to look like a regular zit and I had popped all the puss out and it is now gone. I have NOT been sexually active sinse the summer and soon after I engaged In the summer, I didn t experience this.i was protected with a condom. Should I be worried? What could I do besides cleansing to rid of it.

Hello dear,
Understand your cause
Following are the cause of your problem
Never pop up the zit, it causes deep infections.

1. Hygiene problem: If you not wash penis area, segma that is deposited under fore skin irritate penile area and produce reaction
2. Balanitis: inflammation of the penis,
caused by poor hygiene, especially insufficient washing under the foreskin area.
Thrush, psoriasis, skin sensitivity or allergy to a product used on the penis (such as soap or lubrication)
3. overuse - as in too frequent, too long or too rough sexual activity
4. Fungal infection: in warm environment.
5. STDs:
1. Syphilis
2. Gonorrhoea
3. Herpes
4. HPV
5. Chlamydia
6. Hepatitis
7. Gonorrhea
8. HIV
It is transmitted through oral, vaginally and anal sex.

After infection symptoms occur with in 2-14 days.
For diagnosis you have to consult doctor and do testing for STDs:
1. Gram stain and culture
2. PCR and nucleic acid amplification test:swab should be taken from urethra

Following are the advice of Gonorrhea/Chlymadia:
1. Drugs: Cetriaxone 500 mg Intra mascular stat and Azithromycin 1 gram stat, because to treat gonorrhea and chlamydia.
It also overcome ceftriaxone resistance

Take following advice:
1.Change to a simple, unperfumed soap.
2.Alternatively, buy ‘aqueous cream’ from a pharmacy and use it as body-wash cream (i.e. apply a small amount and rinse off).
3. Put two handfuls of salt in the bath, but no other additives
4. Do not use ‘biological’ or ‘enzyme’ powders when washing your underpants
5. Showering after a workout, changing underwear, using a clean towel to dry off with and not redressing until the area is completely dry
6. Use ormulated penis vitamin formula- Man 1 Man Oil-contain:
with vitamins, minerals and shea butter- it moisturizes the skin and prevents flaking or cracked skin while revitalizing and enhancing the sensitivity of the penis
7. Apply anti fungal clotrimazole cream if severe or not resolved.
8. Use safer sex technique. Use condom if no allergy.
Maintain hygiene after sex.
9. use condom and lubrication while sex
10. Wait until vagina is fully wet and then do intercourse.

Hope this may help you.
Best regards
Dr. Sagar
