What Causes A Visible Purplish Vein On The Cheek And A Broken Tooth?
I have a wisdom tooth which broke off but root is still in gum along with a hole now that s been like this for 8 months now also on the right side of cheek I noticed a purplish blackish vein looking like a lighting bolt on my cheek in the inside. I don t get fevers or chills. help.
I have gone through your query and can understand your concerns..
As per your complain it seems that a purplish black vein like structure on the inner cheek can be a dilated vein or a tortuous vein and in case if there is no problem associated with it then there does not need to worry about as nothing seems serious.. However for giving a confirmed diagnosis you should consult an Oral Physician and get evaluated.. Secondly if you have a broken or fractured wisdom tooth with oy roots remaining in the gum, it is better to get it extracted as it can get infected and cause severe pain.. There will also be food accumulation in that area causing infection and bad smell from.mouth.. So best way is to get it extracted..
Hope this helps..
Regards
