What Causes A Tingling Sensation During Urination?
I would like to know what s going on with my urthera? I have this weird tickling feeling every time I pee. It doesn t burn or itch or anything like that just bothers me. I ve had it for a couple days now. I don t know what s going on down there. Can you please help?
I can understand your concern. Tickling sensation during urination can be a very initial sign of urinary tract infection. It can develop into pain, burning sensation and fever-like symptoms if not treated at this stage.
You should start antibiotic treatment to resolve the infection and prevent its further progress. Take Levofloxacin 250 mg (Levoflox) twice a day for five days and drink lots of fluid.
If the tingling does not go away in 5 days or if the symptoms into more severe type, you should go for blood test (complete blood count) and urine culture.
I hope this information helps. Thank you for choosing HealthcareMagic. Let me know if you have any follow up questions.
