What Causes A Swollen Neck With Bumps In An Elderly Woman?

HI I am a 56 year old female experiencing a swelling on my right side of neck, a pea size tender bump within that same side. I have been gaining weight, two pounds a week, with no change in diet.Tired all the time.I had a blood test for my thyroid but it came up fine.
