What Causes A Swishing Sound In The Ear?

My right ear has a swishing sound. My right eye is watering and crusty. I am couphing uncontrollably. It feels like the vein in my neck is pulsating and hurts. I was in the ER last night and said I had bronchitis. Gave me an inhaler and hydro code bit/homate syrup ( that s what or says on bottle) it s not helping my coughing.

Hello my friend. I reviewed your concern and it seems that you may be having a rough phase of viral upper respiratory tract infection. Generally these infections do not need any antibiotics. What can help you the best is measures like drinking a lot of luke warm water and gargling, steam inhalation if you feel nose block. In case the symptoms do not resolve in 5-6 days I would advice you to consult a doctor and search for any chronic allergic condition that you may be having. For dry cough, a combination of guaphenesin and dextromethorphan may help. If cough is expectorating and is purulent, i would advice you to go see a doctor soon enough.
I hope this helps my friend.
wish you a healthy life ahead.
