What Causes A Sudden Increase In Heart Rate And Lightheadedness?
Hey, I am a 20 year old guy, a little overweight but in pretty good shape. I was mowing the lawn, and I pulled the cord hard to start the mower. Immediately afterwards, my heart started beating at about 240 bpm. I timed it myself and used my Fitbit. I got lightheaded and sat down. My heart continued beating like so for about 3 min and then it went away like nothing happened. What could this be?

This could be a serious problem with your heart. Please see a doctor as soon as possible and do not do any strenuous exercise until this is evaluated.
