What Causes A Strange Feeling On The Collar Bone?

I have a strange feeling in my upper left chest under my collar bone that I usually feel after a deep breath. It feels like a falling sensation. It has lasted on and off for 2 weeks now. I believe it s anxiety since I am recovering from bad anxiety symptoms for over 2 months now. My question is could it be anxiety when everything else has calmed down? This is the only symptom I m feeling and it s fairly new. In my previous anxiety episodes I had never experienced it....when I exercise it seems to go away or calm down.

Hi,
I understand your concern.
The falling sensation you have might be-
- due to anxiety alone - which needs consultation of a psychologist/psychotherapist.
- cervical spondylosis causing irritation of nerve supply to internal ear--which in turn leads to loss of balance. The deep respiration instigating the nerve pressure by affected inter vertebral disc..
Please get X ray cervical spine done after an orthopedic advise & get specific treatment .Medicines & physiotherapy help.
Thanks.
