What Causes A Small Red Bump On The Clitoris?

I have a small red bump on my clitoris, it s been there for only a couple of days. I haven t had sex recently, nor have I changed soap or laundry soap. It itches, but it hurts to touch. Its quite red tho. There is only one of the bumps. Idk what this could be.

Hi
Thank you for asking HCM.
I have gone through your query. Your problem can be due to folliculitis or boil. If you send a picture of it then it will be more helpful in identifying. For such case if you were my patient I would advise washing the area with warm water or saline and applying betadine ointment. Hot fomentation also will be helpful. If local inflammation and pain is more then I would recommend oral antibiotics.
Hope this may help you. Let me know if anything not clear.
Thanks.
