What Causes A Small Pimple Like Bump On Anal Skin?

im 20 and have what feels like an irritated spot right on the inside of my anus, it doesn t hurt when I go to the bathroom, but does when I cough. I gently put my finger there to see if I could feel anything and inside there seemed to be a small pimple/ingrown hair like bump. General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

The symptoms can be related to furuncle which is an infection of the hair follicle. I suggest using warm compresses for local application. I also suggest using an antibiotic cream such as Neosporin cream to treat the infection.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Dorina Gurabardhi, General & Family Physician
