What causes a small lump on the breast?

i started tanning when i was 24yrs old and shortly after i developed a small bump on my upper right breast that looked like an insect bite. it was sore and even pussed up a little. after several weeks it didnt go away but no longer felt irritated. It turned out to be a mole. I am now 35 and it has changed over the years becoming a flesh colored raised oval shape with what looks to be a white pointy head growing on the side of it. A few months ago i started using the tanning bed again and within a few weeks another small mole appeared about an inch above the other one. these are the only moles i have except for a small one on my nose that has always been there. should i be concerned?

Presence of multiple moles is a normal finding. But newly appearing ones or the ones which are changing in size and shape or any discharge from moles need to pay attention over it. My suggestion, please consult a general surgeon and have a small incisional biopsy.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
