What Causes A Small Are On Leg With No Pigmentation In Kid?

My 3.5 year old son (28 lbs.) has a 2 inch long, 1 centimeter wide (approximate) area on his lower leg that looks like it has no pigmentation. It has been there for months and I often forget about it as it's hard to notice and doesn't cause him any irritation, but I'm curious as to what it may be and if I should get it looked at. Thank you!

Hi,
Welcome to HCM forum,
If its not pigmented, it can be various type of lesion. Check if there is sensation over the site, if yes then not to worry. As long as its not increasing in size, need not worry. If still a concern, consult a dermatologist.
Take care.
Happy to help.
