What Causes A Single Pimple In The Pubic Area?

Experienced a single pimple in pubic area after three days of sex. Lots of friction and sweat...is this normal or is it something to be alarmed about? Happened after sex twice in last two weeks. I m male 54 yrs old , only sexually active w one person every few weeks... I m on medication Lipitor and blood pressure meds daily What can cause this?

Hi

The kind of skin lesion you have could simply be a lesion of Folliculitis which is an infection of the root of hair follicles.
It needs to be treated with topical antibiotics like neosporin or mupirocin.
Keep the affected area clean and dry .
If the lesion tends to persist even after treatment with antibiotic agents,then you might need to see a dermatologist to rule out any std.
