What Causes A Scar Tissue In The Lower Back After Radiation Therapy?

I have had radiation in my lower part of my body around 20 years ago I have had cancer 3 times I am 66 female I had cervix cancer. Now scare tissue is around my Colin which I get sick every 3 years lam trying not to have surgery g to go by the brat diet have you dealt with people with this from radation.

Hi,

Scar tissues and keloid can develop after radiation.

It has got no relation to food or diet.

If the scar is so disfiguring you can consult a dermatologist and plan for a steroid injection.
