Hello, I m a 36 year old male. The other day I noticed a red spot on the head of my penis. Its flat, non painful... just a red spot about 1/4 to 3/8 in diameter, and is somewhat oval shaped. I have only had sex with my wife. The only other type of indirect contact I may have had was when I went to a strip club about 7 weeks ago, I touched myself after touching her. And after she sucked on my finger. It should be noted that I noticed the rash after running and wearing my wet running shorts for a few hours after running. Shorts have a synthetic/spandex type of liner. I do have herpes, but have not had an outbreak for many years,and this looks and feels nothing like it. Could this be an std such as syphilis? Rash has been present for 4 days, and seems to be brighter or lighter at times.
