What Causes A Red Bump On The Lip Of The Vagina?

Hi, I have a red bump about pea size on my right vagina lip in my pubis region. It is filled with pus and blood, it doesn t hurt but is sensitive when i touch it or it s rubbed against something. The size decreases after a hot shower. What could this possibly be? It s been here for about two weeks now

Hi
Thank you for asking HCM.
I have gone through your query. Your problem is most likely folliculitis or bartholinitis. It is better to have a local examination by GP or gynecologist to rule out that. You can apply warm towel to get relief. Betadine ointment application also will be helpful. I usually advise antibiotics like clindamycin if infection is moderate to severe. If abscess is present then i advise incision and drainage.
Hope this may help you.
Let me know if you have any further queries.
Thanks
