What Causes A Red Blister On The Penis?

My husband has a blister on his penis that have been putting a cream called clotrimazole & betamethasone dipropionate on for quite a while. I noticed that his testicles now are a beet red. He has been wearing a diaper lately so at first I thought he was chapped. I am worried that it is something else. He has been holding himself lately like they are hurting. He Is 82 and never been circumcised. He also has RD.

Thanks for posting in HCM.
I have read your description and understand your concern.
It appears that what problems your husband is having could be inflammation of the skin around the genitals. It happens to some because of the use of diaper.
It is essential to maintain good genital hygiene during such circumstances.
Please stop using the cream as it contains only steroids and anti-fungal ingredients in it.
Kindly do the following to overcome the same.
1. Clean the area with antiseptic solution like Povidine-iodine twice daily.
2. After drying, apply Mupirocin cream topically over the lesions.
3. Apply anti-napi rash cream which would contain zinc.
4. Supplement with multi-vitamin and multi-mineral capsules to be taken orally daily.
5. Avoid friction in the area and keep the area ventilated and dry as much as possible.
Gradually, the symptoms should subside.
