What causes a rash on the lower abdomen and small bumps on upper thighs?

About a week ago I started getting a rash on my lower abdomen. It s almost like poison ivy but it doesn t have blisters. Anyway, yesterday I noticed small bumps on my upper thighs where my stomach touches my thighs and they itch sometimes but not all the time.

Hello,

The symptoms are most likely suggestive of an allergic eruption, possible after an exposure to some kind of allergens or due to insect bite.

As a first line management, you can take over the counter available antihistamine like cetrezine for symptomatic relief( cetrezine helps to reduce itching and allergic eruptions). Generally the lesions will settle in couple of days.

If symptoms persist or rashes spread to other parts, you have to consult a dermatologist and get evaluated. It will be better if you attach a picture in the follow up query.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
