What Causes A Pus Filled Bump On The Mons Pubis?

I have a pea size sort of hard lump on the mon pubis. It s the regular color of my skin so you wouldn t notice it unless you re actually touching it. I squeezed it in the shower to see if anything would come out of it and white liquid came out. Is this something I should be concerned about?

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello dear
I understand your concern
Lump could be a infection of hair follicle, sebaceous cyst/block sweat gland.
Physical examination help in the diagnosis.
As a treating doctor, I will give following advises:
Local application of antibiotic cream like Mupirocin: 2-3 times/day
Tablet ibuprufen three time a day
Apply warm pad compression
If there is pain warm compresses also help.
Wear pure cotton loose undergarments and keep the area dry.
It will disooves in the 1-2 week
Take healthy diet, green leafy vegetables and fresh fruits with mutivitamin to boost the immunity and faster healing.
Hope this may help you
