What Causes A Progressively Enlarging Bump On Right Outer Thigh?
I have had this single lump growing gradually over the years on my right outer tigh. It s grown as big as a bean seed now. When touched gently it is not painful but when pressure is put on it it hurts. Sometimes when I mistakenly hit it against something it gives an electric shock pain which is very painful. I have had it for over six years or more. Pls enlighten me.

As per your case history you are having a sebaceous cyst.
My treatment advice is -
1. Don't squeeze the lesion as it may worsen the condition.
2. Apply a mild antibiotic cream like fusiderm cream twice daily on it.
3. Take a NSAID like ibuprofen for pain.
4. Other treatment options are oral antibiotics like levofloxacin, cefadroxil and azithromycin taken only after consulting a dermatologist.
