What Causes A Painless Lump In The Groin Area?

I am 69 years old. I have a swelling or may be a hernia on the upper right hand side of my groin area. Coughing does not hurt it, but i can feel it. I can compress it in. It seems to be getting bigger. I did some manual labor yesterday. what might it be/?

HI
Well come to HCM, I really appreciate your concern, if this is the hernia then this could be surgical condition and may need surgery but first it need to be confirmed whether this is really hernia or not and for that you need to get done the clinical examination hope this helps take care and have a nice day
