What Causes A Painful Lump On The Back Of The Neck?
I am having pain in the back of my neck right under the bottom of my skull. There is a small lump not a knot more like a lump where the pain is. Sometimes it s so bad I have a bad headache with it. It is on the rights side. I can turn my head to the right pretty good but not to good to the left. The pain sometimes shoots down into shoulder.any ideas on what this might be?
it can be inflamed lymph gland. it is to be examined and source of its drainage to be found out. it can be scalp or lungs after detection it is to be treated. the lump can be aspirated and cytology study can be done. it will further help in diagnosis and treatment. once it is treated the pain will subside. it requires a course of erythromycin 500mg daily for 5days.tablet combiflam can be taken twice daily for 5days.
