What Causes A Painful Hard Lump On Left Collar Bone?

Just noticed a hard lump toward the middle/above my left collar bone. It s about the size of a pea, is hard, moves, and is painful to touch. Any ideas? The only history I have is when I was younger, I had several cysts in my jaw (the type was something like Odontagenic Keratocysts - spelling? - abbreviated OKC), but I haven t had those in over 14 years, not to mention the fact that they were in my jaw, not my collarbone.

Hello,

Hard lump on collar bone can be due to bone cyst or growth. I suggest you to consult your primary healthcare provider for clinical assessment and X-ray chest to know the exact origin of the bony lesion.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
