What Causes A Neck Mass With Face And Jaw Numbness?

I have a firm mass on the right side of my neck under my jaw. I have labs to test my thyroid and they came back normal. I am experiencing numbness in the right side of my face to include my jaw ear and throat. I had an ultrasound done but am awaiting the results. What could be the possible causes?

Hello,

Possible causes are like:
1. Mass origin from salivary gland like pheochromocytoma
2. Mass from lymphoid tissue like lymphoma or lymphadenopathy
3. Mass from jaw or tooth
4. Mass from jaw bone
5. Mass from muscle or skin or blood vessels
6. Mass from thyroid or secondaries
Mass may compress the facial nerve may lead to facial palsy and trigeminal nerve lead to trigeminal neuralgia. Until examination is done it is difficult to say what it is. please review with your reports.
