What Causes A Lump On The Neck?

Hi, I'm a 31 year old female, and I've had this lump on the left side of my neck for years. It's soft although I don't push too hard on it, and you can see it if I tilt my head to the right. I did have my Dr. check it out before, and he was not at all worried about it. Figured I had some type of infection or just a swollen lymph node. However it has never gone away, and I told him that at the time of visit. It does worry me a bit... Should I be concerned?

Hi, Dear, I studied your query in depth and advise you Not To Worry at all.
That lump is just a Chronic Cervical Lymphadenitis, and doesn't go as such.
- Still as you are worried you can demand or request FNAC Biopsy from Surgeon to rule out the Cancer fear you have.
Ideally you should recheck if it grows fast or /if more appear with your Surgeon or ENT Surgeon.
Hope this would solve your querry.Wellcome for any further query in this issue.
Wishing fast recovery.
