What Causes A Lump On The Inner Surface Of The Lower Lip?

I had oral sex with my fiance last night and a couple of hours ago I noticed a small white bump on the inside of my bottom lip. Can u please give me some insight on what this might be because this has never happened in the past upon giving him oral sex. I m 39 and I have never had any STD s so this concerns me. We have been together 3 years and I ve not had any other sexual partners only him. PLEASE Help me to figure this out.

Hi..
Welcome to HEALTHCARE MAGIC..

I have gone through your query and can understand your concerns..

As per your complain a small lump on the inside of lower lip that occurred after oral sex can be a canker sore or a traumatic ulcer.
As far as it being a STD is concerned, the chances are negligible as the sexually transmitted infections like Herpes, Chlamydia Syphilis etc has a incubation period that is a time duration between the exposure to the infection and appearance of the symptoms and during that time there are no symptoms..
But in case if you had similar exposures in the past also you might need ruling out for the STD's and you need to consult an Oral Physician and get evaluated and a swab culture of the lesion and blood tests can be done to rule out the cause..
But if you had only recent exposure, there are negligible chances of STD..
You can however at present start to take a vitamin B complex daily and also gargle with antiseptic mouthwash..

Hope this information helps.

Thanks and regards.
