I had blunt force trauma to head and instantly had a golf size protruding bump. What causes this? I am not sure if I blacked out. But, I know that I was very aware of what had happened. This a collection of blood under your skin,,there is nothing to be afraid of as this is normal after any trauma..It will resolve after some time,you may apply a warm water packs on it to make her resolves more fast
