What Causes A Lump On The Belly Button With Pus Formation?

I have a knot above my belly button and a little blood and puss coming from the inside. I cleaned this out and there appears to be a sore. It hurts to press on the inside or just above my navel. The knot itself doesn t seem tender. The area around my belly button looks like it is a little red. Is this common and is there anything that I can or should do to make this go away.

Hi,
It seems that there might be having local infection in your belley button.
Due to collection of dust mixed with perspiration due to not proper cleaning might cause bacterial infection inside.
Go for one antibiotic medicine course.
Clean the part with cotton buds and dress it with antibiotic cream.
Ok and take care.
