What Causes A Lump Near The Jawline?

Hi... I have a lump a bit bigger than a pea on or just slightly above my right jawline. I cant feel it inside my mouth but it is semi firm and movable when pressed, it is also tender when I press it really hard. I noticed it couple of years ago. I am just worried what does it mean?

Hi..
Welcome to HEALTHCARE MAGIC..

I have gone through your query and can understand your concerns..

As per your complain it seems that a mobile and sore lump on the jawline can be due to causes like swollen lymph node while it can also be accumulation of fat tissue like a Lipoma or a sebaceous cyst..

Consult a Physician and get evaluated and a thorough clinical evaluation and investigation like FNAC/ BIopsy can help in diagnosis and treatment can be done accordingly..

Hope this information helps..

Thanks and regards.
