What Causes A Lump In The Testicle?

My partner won t go and see a doctor due to embarrassment but he has a lump in his testicle and what feels like hardened tubes, also he cannot ejaculate a quantity of semen therefore have not conceived in our 3 years together, I have looked on Wikipedia and it sounds like it could epidiymititis but I don t know, any idea what I can do to persuade him to go get checked? He knows there s something wrong (reproductively) but he really doesn t seem to care that it could be something sinister or cause infertility.

General Surgeon 's  Response
Very true.
All such patients who know heir problems in advance are reluctant to go to a Doctor.
Hardened tubes in the scrotum can be epididymitis as you have correctly correlated .
This needs to be seen, examined by the Urologist or at least a Surgeon.
He needs to be checked for the possibility of tuberculosis as one of the most important cause of this problem.
Ultrasonography, FNAC. clinical examination and X-ray of the chest will help to get a proper diagnosis and a timely treatment can cure him and you can get pregnancy too
