What Causes A Large Bump With Yellow Discharge On Clitoris?

I had a small bump on my vagina at the top located near the clitoris on the right side wasnt infected then and seemed nothing serious, when I tried to pop it it felt like it ruptured inside and nothing came out, I paid no mind to it and 2to4 days later it is the size of a golf ball inlarged and infected. It is not on the lips of my vagina but more close to the clit, I lanced the "bump" and pus and infection and fluid come out along with pieces of flesh and white lookin sting that hurts to pull out. It is almost as if my vagina grew a belly button, the hole where I lanced it is that large, it almost resembles a spider bite. Inside the hole is yellowish colored stuff and it continues to drain. I thought it a Bartholin Cyst but research ive done suggest it is too high up on my vagina to be that. I can feel where the infection runs from the "bump" up further toward my pelvis. Please help

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello!
Thank you for asking Healthcaremagic!
I have gone through your question and understand your concern dear.
Answer: Vaginal bumps are very commonly found in this area.
The factors that promote the occurrence of the bumps include:
-Infrequent washing of the area
-Unhealthy eating habits
-Less water intake
The most common cause of the bumps is a bacterial infection in vaginal area, because as moist and sweaty area is most favorable for bacteria to grow their colonies.
You should not pop up the bumps, because our hands carry many bacteria. When you handled the pimple with your hands, you perhaps instilled a few bacteria in the lesion. Now,it looks like a deep infected bump. I suggest you to visit a gynecologist the earliest to diagnose and to treat properly!

Next time you find any bump, do not pop or squeeze it, because it will slowly disappear or pop out on its own.
Simply keep the area clean and dry. Wear loose cotton underwears. Wash the affected area twice daily with clear water. No soaps or gels are required.Too much of washing especially with soaps is actually bad for this region.Drink lots of plain water.Eat healthy.
A warm compress may be done thrice a day.(Take a soft cotton cloth. Wet it with warm water and place it over the pimple. This will help soften the skin and reduce any pain and swelling over it.)
You may apply Mupirocin ointment one application be at bed time.It will start healing in about a week. A scar may be left behind, which would take a few more days to go.

Hope this answers your question. If you have additional questions then please do not hesitate in writing to us.
Wishing you good health!
