What Causes A Large Bump And Bruise On The Shin After An Injury?

I do dance and in one of my dances I hit my shin right below the knee every time during the dance. After practice i always have a bruise and then the next practice it comes back with a huge bump on it. What will happen if I keep getting this bruise in the same spot time after time?

Thanks for your question on Healthcare Magic.
I can understand your concern.
Due to dancing, there is constant injury to your leg (below knee).
Due to injury you are getting pain, bruise and inflammation. Inflammation causes swelling.
So if you continue dancing like this (ignoring your injury), you may damaged your leg muscles, bones and other soft tissues.
So better to avoid such dancing steps which cause injury to that part.
Consult orthopedic doctor and get done clinical examination and x ray of leg to rule out internal injury.
Hope I have solved your query. I will be happy to help you further. Wish you good health. Thanks.
