What Causes A Large Bruise On The Right Calf?
I have had a large bruise on my right calf that I don t have a clue what happened - there is one spot about the size of a pencil that was darker and very painful - that lasted about a week now it bruise area is getting bigger and red and itchy - probably unrelated but I had strep and a sinus infection recently which cleared but now I have a sore throat again

You have to rule out deep vein thrombosis in calf by colour Doppler ultrasonography. If deep vein thrombosis not present than no need to worry. Anti-inflammatory medication can be prescribed If DVT not present. I suggest you to consult physician for examination.
