What Causes A Jelly Like Substance In The Outer Corner Of The Eye?

Their is this clear jelly like substance in the outer corner of my eye. My eye is very irritated and red. I have put eye drops into my eyes and am hoping I don t have to go to the doctor s office. Will it go away on its own? I can also feel it when I close my eye.

Hi
Welcome
I have gone through your query.
Based on the in I feel it might be due to conjunctivitis, but requires an examination to confirm.
I would recommend you to get your eyes checked by opthalmologist.
Take care
