What Causes A Itchy Red Rash On The Neck?
This mark appeared on my neck when I was in vacation in LA about 13 day ago As you can see it started out more red, and quickly progressed to a very dark mark. I have no idea how it got there. It was a little bit itchy but the doctor gave me a steroid cream. Nothing has really changed in size or appearance from what I can see from using the cream. I can t see a dermatologist until August 29th but I m really concerned and want this mark to be gone ASAP. Any idea what it could be?

An itchy red rash is most likely an allergy and besides a steroid cream, you may try Fexofenadine 120 mgs once a day for a week.
Second possibility is a fungal patch---for which you can try an over the counter anti fungal cream. regards
