What Causes A Fluttering Sensation Around The Uterus While Menstruating?

I was wondering if it's normal to feel a fluttering sensation around the uterus area while menstruating? I just had a baby 7 weeks ago and I've been feeling fluttering around my uterus and it feels similar to when my baby was kicking, so I was wondering of it's normal or if I should be worried that something's wrong.

Hi,
For quite some time after a delivery, it is natural to feel this kind of flutter as there are after contractions and as the uterus involutes to almost pre-pregnancy size. If only you notice something abnormal about the bleeding pattern or any bad discharge or pain, should you see a specialist. Else, you can relax and enjoy your motherhood. Please maintain genital hygiene and have plenty of liquids. Hope you find this information useful. Wish you good health.
