What Causes A Fleshy Lump On Neck At Back Of The Earlobe?

My six year old granddaughter has a fleshy lump on her neck in back of her lower earlobe - it is not red and it is very soft but hurts when we touch it and it is peeling - it is about the size of a dime and it developed within the last few days and does not have a head.

Hi...by what you quote I feel that your grand daughter might be having a small lymph node enlargement there. If it is not bothering her you need to worry about it as it is not an emergency. But if it is getting red or hot or painful or rapidly increasing in size then it means it is getting secondarily infected. Then you need to consult a physician.
