What Causes A Delayed Period And Negative Pregnancy Test?

six days after i had intercourse iexperience black then brown light pink discharge,it lasted five days.I had bloating for two days.I have light cramping and fell sick In morning and some times in the night.I took pregnancy test negative Iam breastfeeding I would be eight Weeks and test sill negative.what is happening?

Hello,

You DON'T get your period while you are on regular breast feeding. It is called lactational amenorrhea. Black-brown discharge may be due to hormonal imbalance and pelvic/ vaginal infection.

I suggest you to undergo one pelvic ultrasound scan to confirm the diagnosis and clear doubt about pregnancy. Kindly, consult with your gynecologist.
