What Causes A Dark Red Bump Between The Thigh And Genitals?

I have a dark red bump in the crease between my thigh and genitals. I thought it was an ingrown hair or some sort of chafing from my underwear. That was 3 days ago. It hurts when I move. I'm assuming it's because it's in that crease and is being rubbed on. What could it be?

Hi,

Red bump in crease between thighs and scrotum may be impetigo. The lesion may be reddish and painful. It may result from infection to hair follicles due to friction, poor immunity or poor hygiene. Take antibiotics like cephalxine 500 mg twice a day with nimesulide 200 mg twice a day. Apply antibiotic cream like nadifloxacine cream. Cleanse the area with antiseptic like diluted dettol. Keep the area dry. Improve hygine and immunity. You become improved. I hope you got my answer.
