Hello and welcome to HCM,
Herpes infection is characterised by fluid filled vesicles.
The herpes labialis type of herpes commonly involves the upper lip.
Pain, tingling sensation and swelling are characteristic features of the vesicles caused by herpes labialis infection.
The vesicles of herpes are prone to recurrence especially when immune status of body becomes low.
I suggest you to consult your primary health provider for clinical assessment and prescription of topical ointment for relief of symptoms.

Thanks and take care
