I have a bump behind my ear, right where it attaches to my head. At the same time a really red rash, semi swollen, appeared on my neck, on same side. They seem related as it bothers simultaneously. The bump is getting bigger. I have had it for about 5 or 6 days but now is startinfnto really bother.
Understanding your concern. As per your query you havebump and red rash behind ear. Well there can be many reasons for symptoms you mention in query like atopic dermatitis , contact dermatitis , seborrheic dermatitis , psoriasis or localize infection . I would suggest you to apply cold compresses to rashes to reduce the redness or inflammation , take anti histamine like benadryl twice a day and do no touch it gain and again . If condition doesn't get better then consult dermatologist for proper examination . Doctor my order allergy test , skin patch test or take sample for lab test . Doctor may prescribe antibiotics ,suppressants , anti inflammatory or my recommend surgical removal under local anesthesia .
Hope your concern has been resolved.
