What Causes A Bruise On The Chin?

My baby s practicing walking. Unfortunately he fell and hit his chin that left bruise. He was crying and only settles when BFing. I think he s comfort feeding. He refuses water. He s 15 months old. I ve applied aloevera gel already. I want to ask is it okay if he sleeps?

that bruise is due to the blood accumulation when he fall on the fround .. that will go away with time.. but should get his xray done to rule out any fracture .
