What Causes A Blister Underneath The Tongue?

I have a red bubble like thing underneath my tongue, it doesn't hurt or bother me. I've gotten it before also on the inside of my lower lip many times before and i've popped it. Once it's popped, it usually goes away. I just wanted to know what it was, I've gotten it many times before and it never hurt me or anything. I've also heard that you get these red bubble like things inside your mought when your body is deficient of something.

Hi..
Welcome to HEALTHCARE MAGIC..

I have gone through you query and can understand your concern..

As per your complain a red bubble underneath the tongue can be a hematoma formed secondary to injury or can be a mucocele formed due to ruptured duct of minor salivary gland or blockage of duct of the gland with a small stone formation in the duct..
Both the conditions are self limiting and resolves on its own..
You can do concentrated salt water rinses..
In case if it still does not show signs of regression in 2 weeks you can consult an Oral Physician and get evaluated and he can remove it surgically under local anaesthesia..
As of now you should wait and watch as both conditions are harmless..

Hope this information helps..

Thanks and regards.
