What Causes A Black Mark And Stiffness In The Neck?

hi doctor
i have an unprotected encounter 2 weeks before after that i have symptoms from 3 day of the intercourse fatigue and sore body.. i tested and HIV negative and found herpes simplex type 1 detected..now im having black mark ma neck and stift neck...is it an hiv symtom?

Hello and welcome to HCM,
The HIV test can be repeated after 3 months.
If the HIV turns out to be non-reactive or negative after 3 months, the HIV infection is ruled out for all practical purposes.
Herpes simplex 1 infection affects the head and neck region but it can also be transmitted by sexual route.
However, the black marks does not seem to be associated with herpes simplex 1 infection.
